What Singaporeans should know...

There is this popular TV show in Singapore called "We are Singaporeans". It is a gameshow that aired on MediaCorp Channel 5 about everything and anything of Singapore from history to culture to trivia.
Find out more: We are Singaporeans
Here are some of the questions I personally think that most Singaporeans will know the answers for sure:-
Where is the best place to sun your bedding items? Answer: Children playground.
Where is the best place to grow your house plant in a HDB (Housing Development Board - public housing) flat? Answer: Common areas outside the unit.
How many stray cats can be found in residential areas? Answer: As many as they can breed.
How do drivers get away from modifying their automobiles without approval? Answer: Cross their fingers. (They usually get away, tons of them are still on the road.)
Where is the hottest spot for motor cyclists to park their vehicles? Answer: Anywhere that is convenient to them.
Where is the favourite place for Singaporeans to put their shoe rack in the house? (Think outside the box!) Answer: Outside the house. (Of course! It's so convenient.)
Where do Singaporeans dispose their unwanted but unwilling to part with household items? Answer: Common areas where they can see them, not blocking their walkways but yours.
Name the forbbiden areas for smokers to smoke in the public. Answer: None.
How to get children smarter in Singapore? Answer: Hire the most expensive tutor.
What is the most popular kind of food found on most Singaporeans' home dining table? Answer: Hawker food.
*The above answers are based on what I see, what I hear and what I know. Totally my point of views, do not take it personal if you are a Singaporean!

Monkey business

2 weeks ago, I was at a bus-stop, somewhere in Bukit Timah (Singapore) where I had videoed 2 interesting scenes back to back.
From scene 1, I could understand why the monkey was behaving that way in a public because it is an animal whereas the other one...hmm I am not sure. He was smoking right next to the the non-smoking sign, polluting the environment with his second hand smoke...sigh...sometimes I find it hard to distinguish between a man and an animal by their behaviours.

Shower habit

Staying in a hot, hot country like Singapore is no joke. The humidity is so high that it stands about an average of 80% everyday thoroughout the year. To learn about the weather in Singapore, go to Weather in Singapore
Since I am talking about the weather, I do not mean shower as in "rain drops keep falling on my head"...but shower to cleanse my body. I thought you might find it interesting how often I can take shower in a day. The followings are the activities done in a day, taken from the most busiest day of the week whereby a shower is required after each activity:
Shower...
  • waking up first thing in the morning
  • came back from grocery shopping at the martket
  • right after housework chores
  • after cooking lunch
  • after lunch
  • before my afternoon nap
  • after cooking dinner
  • before my evening walk
  • after my evening walk
  • before going to bed
  • waking up in the middle of night (jet-lag)
  • oops, almost forgot...after every poopoo
See, I never understand why our water bill is always so expensive!!! Duh!
